Nell Boeschenstein’s work has appeared in The Rumpus, This Recording, The Millions, The Faster Times,  The New York Daily News, MYOO, and The Believer. She is a contributing writer for The Morning News and she has an essay included in the collection The Rumpus Women, Vol. 1. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2002 and is nearing completion for her MFA in Nonfiction Writing at Columbia University where she was also a University Writing Fellow. Nell has been the recipient of an Academy of American Poets Prize and the Sidney Cox Memorial Prize for student work, as well as two “Format Buster” prizes for her journalism from the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies.
